A secret commissioner endures family betrayal before revealing her true rank.
Caroline scrubs floors in a police building by day while directing investigations as commissioner and intelligence chief by night. She rescued James and his daughter Jenna from destitution, gave them a home, and married him. In return, they branded her a financial drain and moved his manipulative ex-wife Marilyn back into the house. That betrayal forces Caroline to drop the janitor disguise and wield the badge she has hidden all along.
