A warrior discovers the Luna is an impostor when she eats forbidden almonds.
Before deploying to the Rogue Wars, the protagonist received a single, absolute rule from Selene: if she ever ate almonds, the person wearing her face was a fake, because the real Selene would die from them. Three months later he walks back into Blood Moon Pack and watches the Luna smile, carry her scent, and use their private nickname while casually chewing the fatal nuts. The warning was never broken, so the woman at the table cannot be his friend, and the true Luna's location becomes the pressing question.
