A telepathic wife endures her Mafia husband's abuse until his jealousy kills their unborn child.
Lilian spent six years hearing Marcello's secret love beneath every insult, her telepathy the only bridge across his paranoia. When his assistant fabricated betrayal, the Mafia Don personally confined his pregnant wife in a subzero cellar. The freezing ordeal triggered a miscarriage that ended the miracle child they both wanted. With her mental shields shattered, Lilian left signed divorce papers behind and vanished to London, leaving Marcello to find the blood-stained cellar alone.
