A hidden chairwoman is betrayed by her husband and son at her own anniversary gala.
Elena Hart spent twenty years as the concealed chairwoman of Apex Influence Network, steering the premier MCN agency while pretending to be a homemaker to boost her husband Marcus Reed's career. She planned the company anniversary to announce her authority as a tribute to their marriage. Instead, the gala exposed Marcus's affair with Lisa, a signed agency artist, and revealed their son Alex had turned against her. Stripped of her deepest loyalties, Elena discards the devoted-wife mask and prepares to reclaim the empire she built with the full force of her hidden power.
