Alpha Killian abandons his bonding ceremony with Freya to claim her twin Daisy as Luna instead.
Bells signal Freya's bonding ceremony, but Alpha Killian vanishes. A family chat video reveals him in the adjacent hall kneeling before Daisy, sliding the Celestine Ring onto her finger while their father watches with pride. Daisy leans against Killian, weeping, as he comforts her like a bride. Freya's mother then invades her mind, demanding she yield both mate and Luna title because Daisy's wolfsbane poisoning makes her frail. Their parents admit they concealed the swap to prevent Freya's temper from triggering Daisy's condition, dismissing the betrayal as a trivial family matter.
