Victor is the Dragon King of Vierland. Isabella spends one night with him after her stepmother and stepsister frame her, and she carries nine dragon eggs. Her people call her a serpent's mate and sentence her to death. As the blade falls, Victor arrives and declares her his queen before the crowd.
