A dying mother's wish exposes a fiancé's secret marriage to another woman.
Ariel Adler spends twenty-seven days begging Ivan Nash, her partner of six years, to marry her so her terminally ill mother can witness the ceremony. He promises but never arrives before her mother dies. On the very first day Ariel pleaded, Ivan had already married Karen Scott. The double betrayal breaks every tie between them, leaving Ariel to rebuild alone.
