An orphaned Omega substitutes in a blood pact to wake a poisoned Alpha who then devotes himself to her.
Orphaned Omega Emily is forced onto the altar in place of her Hill-family cousin to form the blood pact that can cure Nightshade Alpha Ethan, comatose from Moonshade poison. The ritual shocks him awake; his first act is ruthless devotion toward her. Sheltered by his power, she sharpens her wits and begins turning the tables on the enemies circling both packs.
